Software engineer…..What is it?

Well according to Google it’s an individual that builds and creates software and applications, and can write, test, debug and maintain them also, but this is local government so obviously there is more to it then that. Actually that pretty much sums it up…..moving on.

A couple of roles that come under development are:

• Lead Developer
• Senior Tester
• Frontend developers
• Backend developers

So a developer would design, build and improve website software that meets user needs where a tester would test case design, test planning and test the systems developed by the developer and evaluate the results and document problems found.

So Google was right.

Some skills are really needed for this, so if Myspace spoke to you and now you have the skills we need then come work with us.
